Could someone tell me what resistor and cap values
are used to mod a volume pot to prevent tone loss
when backing off.
 
As I understand it, you place a cap and R accross the
input and output (lugs 3 and 2?) of the pot.

 place a 150 - 500pf and 220K R
accross the in and out volume lugs. Sounds much
better!

A good way to tweak it to perfection is to put the cap in
series with a small trimmer, at least 100k. then if the
cap lets too much hi end thru you can trim it back.
