Dave, Attached is a schematic of my plexi project, it's in Acrobat format. I built into a Rodgers made 4 x 10" tweed Bassman combo with 2 Vintage 10" Celestions and 2 Weber VST P10Q's. I gave as much information as possible, especialy voltage readings. Changes I'd recommend to improve it. 1) Use a Hammond 372JX power transformer instead of the 272JX. Expect slightly lower B+. 2) Use a Hammond 193C choke. 3) Use a 3PDT switch for the SS/Tube rectifier, have the third switch in the package change the bias so that it's biased correctly when in either SS or tube rectification mode. As is this amp is absolutely fantastic, with the above changes it will be even better. Note the "Viscosity"switch which changes the resistance in the negative feedback between 33K and 133K both are very usable sounds, I'll keep doing this in the future. Check out the switch that cuts down the filtering, I was surprised to find that it's close to impossible to hear the difference, none of the players I showed it to could hear the difference, weird, I don't think I'll bother with this again. I'm especialy proud of what I did to get the Brilliant channel to sound right, it's the SuperLead thing that usualy is too shrill, I spent alot of time with a test board that had lots of pf caps and trimpots to tweak with. the values are almost like stock but with resistor in series with them to slightly cut down their effectiveness, I'll never build a Superlead Brilliant channel any other way. The Normal channel is my Strat channel, the Brilliant channel is my Les Paul channel. Every guitar player who has played through this amp has wanted me to build them one. So look it over, let me know what you think. John Kelley Brown
